A Sparkling Transformation for No7

When Boots tasked Momentum Instore with installing new No7 furniture across a variety of store formats, it was already a huge undertaking. But with the global pandemic suddenly unfolding, the complexity of the project skyrocketed, bringing new challenges at every turn.

The Plan?
To install 13 different stand types across 835 stores, all within three months, during the peak of COVID-19. With over 300 team members on the ground, the stakes were high, but our experience and resilience powered us through.

Rolling with the Changes
The COVID-19 pandemic created a whirlwind of challenges, but it didn’t stop us. We pivoted quickly, adjusting logistics, installation processes, and even health and safety measures to keep the project on track. Stock had to be picked, collated, and installed across 13 different build variations, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of our team. No matter the obstacles, we thrive in complex, large-scale projects that require expert coordination. With the support of Insite, our project delivery reporting system, we ensured everything ran smoothly keeping the project on time and in budget.

The Details
With a team of over 300 skilled professionals navigating the global pandemic, the project was delivered seamlessly despite the challenges. In total, 4,463 unique part codes were involved, with the largest build requiring 1,166 individual components. Before installation began, a comprehensive survey of each store was conducted to ensure compatibility and assess access routes, with all findings easily accessible through Insite, our project management system.

The Glow Up
The result? A flawless rollout that transformed No7 in-store displays, ensuring the brand shone brightly across every location. Thanks to expert planning, precise execution, and our dedicated team, the new No7 furniture is now part of a seamless, modern retail experience that elevates Boots’ beauty offering.
