Prior to installing new security wheels on trolleys for Tesco, Gatekeeper tasked Momentum with surveying 654 stores and gathering crucial estate information. The system prevents trolleys from being pushed out of a store without having passed through a payment area.
Once the surveys were all completed, Momentum were asked to install the security wheels in 130 high risk stores before the end of the year. Crucial to this mission was to engage with store managers where the new system had been installed to ensure it was fully operational and provide information and demonstrations.
Whilst completing the initial surveys on site, Momentum’s team needed to liaise with store managers to ensure clear communication about the purpose of their visit. Each survey took between 2 – 3 hours to complete, with over 80 questions, 100 plus photos and tests to asses the strength of the mobile network around the store. Site plans were annotated to capture necessary details for the installers.
In total over 34,000 wheels were installed by the team.
