Before a single engineer stepped foot on site, we eliminated risk through the most comprehensive estate readiness exercise of its kind. Our teams assessed all 45,000+ retailers, capturing 3.48 million data points and 1.11 million images to document counter layouts, power availability, and connectivity conditions. This granular intelligence removed guesswork from the field, prevented avoidable delays, and drove right-first-time installation rates across the estate.
Precision Infrastructure & Logistics
Keeping every retailer trading throughout the transition was non-negotiable. We deployed over 9,500 5G routers to future-proof network infrastructure, working directly with the Network Supplier to hard-wire remote and low-signal locations that standard solutions couldn’t reach.
Managing stock flow across seven regional depots without creating bottlenecks demanded precise sequencing across five interdependent workstreams. At our central Loughborough Aftermarket facilities, all new technology underwent out-of-the-box software and hardware testing before field dispatch — ensuring quality was assured at source, not discovered on site.
Nationwide Deployment & Governance
To enable a seamless switchover, over 7,000 terminals were pre-installed alongside legacy technology, allowing retailers to transition at pace without operational interruption. As the programme scaled, 224 installers deployed terminals across 38,000+ stores — navigating complex logistics including air and ferry routes to reach remote Scottish and island locations.
The entire operation was orchestrated through daily governance and powered by Insite, our proprietary field management platform, providing live dashboards, photo sign-off, and real-time performance tracking to maintain consistency across every site, every day.
