When we’re working on the high street 365 days a year anyway, it makes sense to get multiple projects completed at the same time. Saving money, creating efficiencies and saving CO2 by reducing the number of trips to store, we were excited to consolidate visits, completing multiple projects for co-op at the same time.

In total, we visited 2,130 stores, and completed all 3 projects within a 6-week time frame. Consolidating visits created efficiencies in terms of resource, and created a much smaller carbon footprint due to less driving around.
Why audits are so important
Before the manufacturers created new equipment for the chilled drinks section, we went into all stores and made sure the proposed kit would fit in the locations is was supposed to. We have great working relationships with the kit manufacturer, and worked together to ensure everything going into store fits perfectly first time, eliminating the need for excess store revisits. With prior knowledge of the kit and areas they were going into, we went on to implement the new “product pushers” in-store.
