Google is incredible. The simplicity of the branding, the user experience, it’s the tech you can rely on, and day to day, most of us do.
So, when such a prestigious brand rolls out a new mobile handset, you expect the best. Beautiful new displays showcasing the product, a demo handset you can pick up and get a feel for, and when it’s Google, you expect the whole experience to be perfect.
This is why they choose Momentum.
We had 108 team members working on the launch of the Pixel 3 smartphone.
There were over 2,000 stores to update with new graphics, of all shapes and sizes, across multiple store groups such as EE and Carphone Warehouse, and carry out compliance checks within.
Powered by Insite
Insite was the key to Google knowing that their brand looked fantastic in-store. They were kept in the loop at every stage of the process, and could access before and after photos for all stores, of all displays. A grand total of 66,000 questions were answered by the end of the project, giving Google the data they need to make decisions on an individual store level.
Whilst we were there, we carried out compliance checks of all Google’s other hardware. The Home Hub and the Pixel Stand also needed to be in the right place, and Google wanted to ensure all of the correct hardware was in-store. Our teams cross-checked what was in-store and what Google wanted to be displayed in-store, and reported back.
We’re proud to be trusted by one of the world’s most valuable brands, and proud of our teams for doing such a great job.
