Two years ago, we set up our aftermarket facility…. Which at its core is a true pioneer and effector of legitimate sustainability, we are a driving this forward and supporting clients in more sustainable retailing. We believe this is the future and are committed to leading the industry forward, as core to our services we will soon be opening a second facility to further increase our capacity for aftermarket services – go team!
Why Aftermarket?…. For years, we’ve been known in the industry as retail installations and merchandising experts. We even had it printed on the back of our polo shirts, so it’s a fair assumption that that was all we did. But, we’ve actually been providing some of the UK’s largest brands and retailers with much more than that for a long time.
From regular updates and maintenance visits to thousand-store surveys, pick pack and collation projects to store data analytics and bespoke spare parts ordering via our tech platform Insite, we have been doing pretty much everything in retail for a while.
The problem was, there was a break in the cycle. There were too many back-and-forths between us, our partners and manufacturers as we only held enough stock to carry out individual projects. This made processes rather clunky and inefficient.
Our Aftermarket facility bridges the gap between you wanting something done (either for your brand or within your retail environment) and it getting done. It cuts out unnecessary middle-men and excess journeys on the road, which in turn reduces CO2 emissions and cost.
The Aftermarket is a consolidated facility where multiple activities take place.
We engage at the beginning and end of a brand or retailers POS display effecting the design at point of origin, through to manufacture/ installation and all the way back from the end of the displays use via the de-install/ return – to carry out the harvesting of spare parts and re-purposing the display for future use. Only when the unit has reached its final lifecycle end do we then break it down into commodity parts i.e., metal/plastics/wood and facilitate the recycling process. We call this the chain of sustainability.
The chain of sustainability is simple and effective, it also provides peace of mind that nothing is going to landfill…. sounds great right?
Its been such a success we will be soon opening our second facility.
